Mainstation Apparel began in 2001 when founder Penny Shurr saw a need for affordable, quality clothing options right here in Norfolk. She opened the first store in Waterford with a simple idea: name-brand apparel at no-name prices.

Over the years, that vision has continued to grow. A second location opened in Simcoe 15 years ago, followed by a third shop specializing in vacation and children’s wear just three years back. And most recently, in June 2025, Mainstation expanded again – this time to Port Dover’s Main Street.

Now a true family-run business, Penny is joined by two of her daughters to keep the stores running smoothly and the shelves stocked with fresh finds. With new arrivals every week, each visit offers something new to discover.
