Rooted in Floral is a locally owned business built on a love for gardening, design, and the dream of a peaceful, simpler life.
Located on a 14-acre farm near Eden, Ontario, they offer perennial herbs and flowering plants grown right on the property. Inside the Log Barn Studio, the on-farm retail space, visitors will find handcrafted wreaths and other floral creations designed using materials from the farm, along with carefully curated vintage home décor.
Founded by Annette, whose lifelong love of flowers began during her childhood on a dairy farm and grew through the years spent running floral and gift shops, Rooted in Floral is a true reflection of passion turned purpose.
Recognizing the emotional element in creating, giving, and receiving flowers and plants, Annette saw their potential to support healing for the mind, body, and spirit. Inspired by this deeper purpose, she and her partner purchased the farm in 2016 to start something new.
Shortly after, the construction of the log house and barn was started, and plans were put into place to start an organic herbal/flower business, and in 2019, the retail story began with the renovation of a heritage building in Otterville. In 2024, they brought the business home, opening the Log Barn Studio on the farm.
Rooted in Floral is more than what you take home – it’s an experience. Annette warmly invites you to stroll the gardens, pause to enjoy a coffee or tea among the blooms, and let the sights and sounds of nature bring you back to center.
Visitors are welcome by appointment, offering a chance to explore the gardens, browse seasonal creations, and see where everything is grown and crafted.
