The CTM Care Committee was thrilled to serve as one of the principal sponsors of the Invasion of the Dragons Dragon Boat Festival hosted by the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise. This exciting event, held in Waterford, raised funds for the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise and the Cancer Support & Resource Program (CSRP). We were blessed to have incredible weather, and with the sun shining, we were all treated to the powerful and moving Cancer Survivors Boat and Ceremony.
CTM had a great turnout, and we not only filled a boat to compete in the day’s races, but we also had the support of our fellow CTMers, spouses and kids cheering us on as we all tried our hardest! We enjoyed some cool refreshments, tasty pizza and lots and lots of water!
We, as CTMers, can’t wait (only 364 days) to be back, build on our successes and take our Dragon Boating to the next level!
